Minnesota Presencing Forum
Monday, October 24, 2011 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (CDT)
NOTE: The Minnesota Presencing Forum is currently full. You may sign up for the waiting list and/or email list above. Additional Presencing events for training, networking, and application are being planned. We invite you to join this emerging network. The price for the forum is $130 for nonprofits, students, and government and $170 for participants from for-profit organizations.
The Presencing process is a journey that connects us more deeply both to what wants to emerge in the world and to our emerging, higher self. An international network has developed to apply the Presencing approach in organizational and social change.
In October, Otto Scharmer, Peter Senge and the Presencing Institute are organizing a Presencing Global Forum in Boston. A group of us in Minnesota are organizing a parallel conference in Minneapolis/St. Paul. We'll have live streaming video of the plenary sessions from Boston, and have our own breakout activities, conversations, and panels. As a part of the Minnesota gathering, Wendy Morris will facilitate some creative processes to apply and integrate the Presencing principles. It will be held at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
Included in the cost of registration:
InCommons will be supporting at three follow-up sessions to the forum, to continue the conversation and for learning more about applying Presencing in our communities. The first session is planned for Nov. 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. These sessions are included in the cost of the forum. Participants in the forum will also be invited to apply to participate in upcoming Art of Hosting trainings, provided by InCommons.
Join the conversation online, before the forum:
InCommons is hosting online conversation about Presencing and the forum before and after the forum. Join us there to identify the values that draw you to Presencing and to help shape the affinity groups that we'll have at the forum. You may also contact Michael Bischoff with questions and input at email@example.com or 612-234-1122.
More about the forum and Presencing:
Goal for the Minnesota forum: Strengthen the Minnesota hub of people practicing awareness-based collective change methods in pioneering a more sustainable, inclusive, and aware society.
The intended outcomes:
1. Deeper understanding of the Presencing process and how it applies personally, in work, and community.
2. Discovering ways life is calling you to bring this process back to your community.
3. Knowing ways the Presencing network that is beginning to form in Minnesota and internationally can support your application of awareness-based collective change, and how you can contribute to these emerging networks.
People in Minnesota practicing awareness-based collective change in some way, both those just beginning this path and those with a long experience. You do NOT need to know the Presencing language and framework to participate. If you are listening for what is required of you and society for profound social innovation please join us in developing this emerging network in Minnesota.

As a part of the forum and the follow-up to it, there will be several affinity groups, to listen together for the future that is seeking to emerge in their field. When you register, you'll have the opportunity to select a group. The following is a list of affinity groups and group hosts that are confirmed so far.
